Hello all, hope everyone is safe and well. I had an email from QDR that states

Thank you for your correspondence. Please note the above account has now been closed with us and returned to our client ZZPS Limited.

Any future correspondence must be made directly to them going forward.

Would you take it that the charge has been dropped?

Not really - unless any of the main protagonists confirm that. check with the PPC's  website 'Pay My Parking Charge' (or whatever they call it) to see what its present status is.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    No, it hasn't.

Ok thanks. So they haven't given a response to the appeal, and now closed the account with the solicitors. Any idea what their next step will be? The charge is still live on the PPC site.

They will sue you through the small claims court.

Or they will not, who knows?  However, prepare for a claim and read stuff, lots of stuff.
