I have received the refund for my first flight today, which is good news.
Still waiting to hear about the second flight!

I've also had the email informing me that my refund has been processed. Fingers crossed the cash will land, even if the plane didn't! I put my refund request in on 24th March.
I just checked and I put mine through on the 24th March as well, was meant to fly on the 4th April. That's good you've received confirmation and some sort of communication, I've yet to receive anything. Did they give a time frame of when they will pay the money back?
Unfortunately no time frame. That's why I'm not getting overly hopeful.

    Hi,
We (6) were due to fly to NY on 7th April. Filed for a refund on the 30th March. Received email 30th April to say refund is on its way. Received full refund 2nd May. Plenty of useless advice from market analyst wannabes who just had me worried for nothing.

    Stay safe

    Hi
I just had a refund from Norwegian too. Applied on 25/03, had an email saying they’re processing it on 30/04 and this morning - money back on my credit card.
We were due to fly to NY on 05/04.
Hopefully everyone will get their money back 🤞🏻

Norwegian Air wins support for rescue plan ahead of crunch vote

The embattled carrier Norwegian Air has won support from aircraft lessors for its rescue plan as it faces a crunch shareholder vote on the $1.2bn (£950m) plan to convert debt into equity at an emergency meeting on Monday.

Hearing people have got refunded is giving me hope, but if they are doing refunds in the order they received them then I should have heard from now. Still no communication from Norwegian so going to hold off contacting them for a while longer. Refund was requested on the 24th March and due to fly on the 4th April so would have thought I would have heard by now.

I'm not sure how it is working because I claimed the refund for 2 flights on the 24th March, but so far only one has been refunded (the one which was supposed to depart 30th March). The second due to depart on the 16th April I have heard nothing about, not even the email saying it has been processed. I guess It might depend on the route, the date they cancelled the flight etc. The main thing is that they are working through it, which is a positive sign.

Me too got refund from Norwegian. Travel date was 5 Apr. I did a section 75 complaint with my credit card provider in the meantime. So don't know whether Norwegian refunded following my complaint or they would have done anyway.
Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.
