  • Also feeling worried, our application went in on 17th December. They instructed valuation a few days later and its supposed to be this Thursday, hoping and praying it goes ahead 🙏

Thanks, did they ask to see your bank statements when doing an AIP?
nope our broker got our aip within 4/5 hours of speaking to him that day, the full process from applying to decision only took us around 4 weeks

Fab, thanks. We seen a house we like but with Christmas spending & the gambling transactions (bookies are closed & he usually goes there). I didn't want to apply for a AIP then just rejected

hey, i wouldn’t worry too much about the christmas spending or gambling, we had no problem getting our mortgage through bluestones, got out offer at start of november and now in our home. we had around 5-7 transactions to ladbrokes online gambling every month and after valuation we weren’t asked for anymore documents or bank statements etc, i think once valuation is instructed there happy to go with what they have already received, good luck everyone!
This is reassuring thanks! Bluestone have instructed the valuation but just waiting for a confirmed date. Hoping this means they have all the required documents.

Slightly concerned about how long its taking bluestone to instruct valuation? what is the normal sort of time from full application?

Does anyone know what will happen now? House Market🏠 will be open us before?
  • Property market will remain as normal. You can still move as long as you follow the social distancing rules.
Please don’t panic. We’ve done this before and solicitors and brokers know exactly how to deal with this new normal. We are prepared ☺️

Im wondering if Bluestone will still lend us normal?
  • I'm starting to get worried about our application.
It started in Oct, paid for valuation but still going backwards and forwards with affordability etc. They've said we'll have an update by the end of the day tomorrow
