Our official application went in on 11 December after our DIP was approved. Not had any updates except where they have asked for further information  from us.
Such a nerve-wracking time and the Xmas period doesn't help as they are closed etc.
Just hoping to beat any further lockdowns etc which may affect their lending.
  • Hi,
My husband has a CCJ from Vodafone - good to see Bluestone may accept us.
I've read through the forum and seen they question cash being put into the bank - we put our xmas money from family in and worried they will question it. No proof as was in our xmas cards etc. We don't normally put money in but thought as saving we would.
How many months of bank statements do they need?  I don't want to hinder the process as worried about my husband's adverse credit (Mine is excellent).

    Thanks

We always put cash in our account and BS never even questioned us. Not thousands but hundreds from birthdays and our kids birthdays and transfer it as i dont like  money laying about the house. My uncle bought my husbands road bike and paid us 2k in cash which I paid in and they DID question that. MA said as long as you have an explaination. We told them what it was and they accepted it?? No proof of sale needed. They asked us for 3 months bank statements initally but ended up sending 4 as if ur application rolls into another month get your MA to upload it so it doesnt delay.
Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!
  • Were going through using Simply Adverse. Any feedback what they are like with bank statements and your bills? I have couple mobile phone bills coming out of my bank, 1 of them being higher as I use EE add to plan for some stuff. I take it regular payments for gas electric, council tax, sky, broadband etc look good?

Thanks. Do you know if they check credit card statements? We put our monthly spends on it then clear in full.  Just to know if we need to rein it in before we apply

    Thanks
  • I received my offer on Tuesday. They didn't check my credit card statements but went through every payment on my bank statement. Even £4 per month to have my bins cleaned! £50 I spent gambling went on my monthly expenses too.

@Walesgirl didnt check our CC Statements, but we had them to clear on completion with equity. that was part of the conditions on our offer and the solicitor had to do that.
