Hi I have submitted the full mortgage application now with bluestone , I notice a lot of the comments on here are saying you can monitor your application process to see what stage it is at? how do you go about this? I would like to keep an eye on how my application is progressing.
    Morning,
I wasn't aware this was possible
Think it may be that the Mortgage Broker can log into a portal and check the status/updates as well as upload documents
Somebody may correct me though  :)
  • Hi All,
We are using Simply , they just submitted our application to Bluestone ,and they saying we expect first review  between 7 and 10 working days ,fingers crossed🤞 . We ask them about are chances to be successful and they said is nothing to worry about our case . Does anyone  know how long all the process will be ? Hopefully  now  they are not busy as before.
    Thanks

Thanks you two, any other recommendations now offers are starting to come through ?
@haras_nosirrah is very popular on here and read a lot of posts of praise for her...maybe she can help you??
I used sarah (haras_n0sirrah) and she was fantastic. She isn't on here any more but I have her contact details if anyone wants them. She was a lot cheaper than 2k (£499 on offer)
  • Thanks for your reply but now is to late, our application is all ready submitted to bluestone, i hope they prepare our application properly , and will be not questions asked 🙃

Hi, we are also using Simply and our application to Bluestone went in yesterday. Our case manager told us she expects an update within 5 days, so fingers crossed we might hear something before Christmas.

Just to say we have just been through the process with Simply and they were brilliant - definitely prepare a solid application. We got our formal offer this week and although fees are high they were worth every penny!

    Hi Jentel31,
Can you tell us how long was your process like from the time they sent your application to  formal offer ? Did they ask you any questions, or to provide any other paperwork ?
    Thanks

Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!
  • So our story continues. We had the offer at the end of November but the solicitor raised an issue that turned up in the local searches about mining. The house we are looking to buy is in NE England and like many in the area is built on top of a mine. For some reason the valuer noted it was built on one but said a mining report wasn't required. Once the solicitor spotted it everything moved slowly but we finally got the required information from the builder that they had carried out the remedial and foundation work advised by the structural engineer so hopefully that will suffice. In the meantime we had to delay completion until the start of January.
My main worry now is that if it looks like we are going to be moving to Tier 4 will Bluestone pull the offer? Whilst my OH probably wouldn't be furloughed if it was a 2 week lockdown any longer than that would probably mean that her place would close up completely. Her job is relatively secure but could they/would they pull the plug at this late stage?
Just want this not to be a case of so near yet so far, my anxiety levels have shot up these last few days.
