Bluestone Mortgages

They say 5 days, we submitted ours on the Monday to complete on the Friday and they sent the Money on Thursday ready. They did say they would need to check that the Certificate of Title was correct on submission and ours wasnt, they went back to the solicitor on the Tuesday asking her to amend it and they said they would still send the money regardless. Im sure you will be fine. They do like to do a completion call with you the day before but they will get your solicitor to tell you what number to call. Stay calm, itll all work out....Good luck with it all xxLooking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!0

Thank you! That makes me feel a bit better... cause if they sent yours on the Thursday then even if they send it on the day we complete it’s still doable! And specially if they managed to look at the request on the day after the request I should hopefully be okay, even if by the skin of my teeth haha! I am sooooo ready for this process to be over xx1

hey everyone,
not posted in a while, after receiving our mortgage offer at the start of november we have had the most stressful time with solicitor and title issues, but eventually today think everything has been solved and now hoping to ask bluestone to release funds tomorrow 🙏🏽 although my solicitor asked me today if i had noted bluestone as an interest on my buildings insurance which i haven’t as i wasn’t aware i had too! i am now so stressed as i have say for the last 2 hours online trying to get a home insurance where i can add my lender as a note of interest but there is no option for this, can someone please help and tell me how they done this, really hoping we can request funds to be released tomorrow been there most stressful time ever and having to pay for all my furniture in storage due to all the delays so really hoping to get the keys before christmas!! thank you!!0 -
I also haven’t done this as there is nowhere in my offer to say that needed to be done... is it stated in your mortgage offer??0

yes they do require this as its on the certificate of title that your solicitor has. We used Magnet Home Insurance and called them - they did this instantly. If you go back about 20 pages - loads of people talk about it.Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!1

Okay I will ring insurance in morning and get it changed! Hopefully it won’t affect the funds being released... strange I haven’t been asked beforehand!0
