Bluestone Mortgages

We initially submitted our full application 1st October. And then had the full runaround from BS with forms and documents galore. It felt never ending. But then, We got our mortgage offer through on 25th November, exchanged contracts on 27th and completed 4th Dec. So it moved very very quickly towards the end! I can’t recommend our mortgage broker enough, she was amazing and pushed for this quick result daily. Chloe Stock at the Stock Mortgage Company. I can’t believe this process is over and we now have a house, stick with it guys, you’ll get there!1

Hi All, just to update
BS have come back to us for a 6th time wanting further information. I have a loan which will be paid off on completion using our current home equity. They require all details of what this was used for. It was used to consolidate other credit. BS will only accept account statements showing settlement so I’ve had to go back to my old lenders who are quoting 28 days to have the proofs sent out to me. It will then be 5 to 6 working days for BS to review. So frustrated with this as they have been aware of all accounts since DIP and we have been very honest with everything!! :-(0 -

I have just come off a long call with our Mortgage Broker, who has said they would like to help us but just need the further docs. He said if they were not willing to lend, they would of rejected straight away as they are that busy. I did ask why as professionals they couldn't give us a heads up on what further docs might be requested so we can prepare. He said that's just the way they operate. 8 times is a lot thought.....hope you get some good news soon0 -
