Bluestone Mortgages

Hello. They have come back saying they are not happy with the affordability. In our MIP they said that they would. Lend us money to pay of debt which would free up about £800 a month and now they are using these debts against us. Has anyone had this please. I hope this makes sence cause it's made my head spin. Thanks0

Unless there has been a criteria change recently and I have missed it, this seems unlikely.Chazm8 said:Hello. They have come back saying they are not happy with the affordability. However, I always say Bluestone' affordability is "quirky". The way they assess you at DIP stage and application stage differs. So it is possible the maximum loan amount will change between DIP and application.
But I would be surprised if it was due to debt being cleared. That being said, did you include all debt? Mobile phone handsets is one debt they are quite big on compared to other lenders.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Ma has spoken to them and they have said they had made a mistake and if my lowell and Cabot gets cleared by the mortgage then it fits affordability. It feels like I'm on a mad roller coaster. Yes they new about all debts. In fact in my MIP they told me my debts. Now to wait another 4 working days. Fml. Thanks for replyingACG said:
