Hi all, so we have jumped through hoops for bluestone and I am just happy to be considered. We had our valuation wensday and today they have asked for more bank statements and payslips due to the time frame it has taken to get to this stage which we submitted today. Does anyone know how long the turn around is for the documents to be reviewed and offer to be made. Or are they likely to ask for more. Thank you in advance

Can anyone tell me why bluestone are going so slow with processing applications. I was hoping the valuation would be instructed by nothing from bluestone since the credit check and email sent to my mortgage adviser to say they were working on my case.
I'm trying to be patient but they haven't asked for any other information or anything further and I'm wondering how long I can expect to wait.
Decision in principle 4/12/20
Full application 16/12/20
Hard credit search 30/12/20
Email to mortgage advisor 4/1/21
Nothing since
My main reason for using bluestone was they were willing to look at my application while my credit file hasn't updated with my two settled delinquent accounts with provident financial. I managed to get a letter of proof of settlement from cap quest who handled the accounts and sent that in.
Other than that there is no adverse credit and I hoped bluestone would see my application as a straight forward case and process time would we quicker than a more complicated case.
My credit file is due to update this month and the accounts were settled on the 5th of November last year and wondering if I would be quicker with another lender and starting again?

As they manually underwrite they take time as it's not a computer says no outcome. On the valuation I know for ours it was using Connells who have a 7-10 days booking turnaround. If your development has been closed for Christmas this would impact connells booking the valuation.0 -

Hi all,
Just found this forum and wish I would have found it earlier! Our application went in on the last week of November and we are still waiting for a decision. Had an update from the mortgage advisor today to say that they have missed my partner's employment reference, but they are ringing through for that today then they will instruct valuation (they said probably this afternoon) so we should have a decision soon. I'm so anxious waiting for an answer especially considering that its my credit history which is the problem, although I haven't had any adverse credit issues since 2017! From reading the forum I can't see many people who have been rejected by Bluestone but I'm still really anxious and hoping that everything goes okay. Wishing everyone luck!
