Anyone been asked for a deed of gift indemnity policy and a Declaration of solvency by Bluestone as a condition of the offer? How much is the policy if anyone knows?0

First time posting on this thread.
Mine & my partners full application went into Bluestones on 08/01/21. We are purchasing on H2B and just caught the old H2B scheme before it changed. We are using Simply as the broker who have been brilliant up to now. We got our DIP on 23/12/20. We then went through pre underwriting with Simply which took a couple of days including the Xmas break and is now at full application. They've already completed the valuation which was done yesterday, we are just awaiting the full report to be uploaded now. Is this the usual process? As reading some of the posts the valuation is usually done after the first stage of underwriting?
Many thanks
Lee.
Bluestone asked for my ID again even though Simply had it. Hoping for some good news next week.
Regards,

Have you definitely read it's a policy they want and not a deed of gift declaration?
- If it is a policy, speak with your solicitor to see how much they can get a policy for.
@ACG have you come across this with any of your clients and their mortgage offers?Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
I have not come across either, Declarations would usually be needed pre-offer and indemnity policies are usually needed by the solicitor.
