Dundee. I don’t see how your solicitor matters? Mine doesn’t care what mortgage advisor or company I used as long as I had an offerMovingForwards said:

Because bluestone only have a small panel of solicitors who they approve for conveyancing. If the solicitors are not on the lenders panel then you will be paying for two firms (1) yours to do the conveyancing and (2) the firm to deal with bluestone and their interest in the property.davidthompson1 said:

I didn’t have the pay for conveyancing as it was already completed as part of the valuation in Scotland. Recieved my completed offer todayMovingForwards said:

Valuation and searches are done by the seller. Sometimes bluestone ask for another valuation if the sellers one is old, or not on their surveyor panel.davidthompson1 said:

Conveyancing is done by your respective solicitors to transfer the property from them to you, register the title deeds in your name and register bluestone's mortgage on the deeds.
If you've only just got your offer today, you haven't completed your purchase.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Hello,
Has anyone had a mortgage accepted with Bluestone and been on a flexible furlough?
Our MA said that it was fine originally. Bluestone has been back in touch with us and requested latest bank statements and payslips. My husband is self employed and I'm employed to him. So the grant appears on our business bank statements (which they have also requested). We have a cleaning company, so the grant is there to help our income as customers keep self isolating and are shielding due to the pandemic. However, they are loyal customers that have been with us for years.

Quick Update,
Our full application was submitted in beginning of October and a Desktop Valuation was finally completed on Friday. We had an email from our Mortgage Advisor yesterday to ask for a further 3 Month Bank Statement's as it's taken so long to get to this point. We are a bit worried about the spend on my account due to Christmas, and we have also used an agreed overdraft. Not sure how they will look at this. Has anybody had similar issues?0
