I have a AIP with Bluestone with the full application hopefully going in soon. I'm using Simply Adverse and have been told my application has been passed to the pre underwriting team, has anyone been through this and know how long would roughly take? I was really hoping my full application would go in this week as the estate agent is chasing for updates. I know this will be a long process, I noticed a few people had gone through Simply Adverse on here and wondered if anyone had a similar experience
    Hi

We are using Simply. The Pre-Underwriters are a team based in Simply who gather all your documents and package them ready to present to the lender. For us, this took a few days before our application was ready to submit. One of the things they do is look through your bank statements and payslips,  identify transactions that the lender may query and then ask you to clarify what they are.
Thank you - they’ve since came back with some forms from Bluestone to be filled in. Hopefully my application is ready to go in, in a few days!
Got my fingers crossed for you! Simply have been great with us so far.

Oh that’s such good news! How long since you first applied with Bluestone may I ask? We have had a soft search done on 21/12 and our MA has been told a mortgage has been approved but we have no rates yet and they’ve asked for our job titles that’s about it

We got our decision in principle at the end of Sept and then our full application went in in Oct.
  • We are still waiting the outcome of the valuation appeal. Bluestone/BrightStar have confirmed all our parts are absolutely fine and nothing from us outstanding but went back to the developer and said their appeal needs to be in chronological order so they've to resubmit it. 5 working day turnaround but experience has shown us it will be slightly longer
  • Quick Update..
A desktop valuation is being carried out today and BS have said other part's of the application are fine. They are expecting to have the valuation result back Monday and have suggested they will then move to offer stage. Has anybody had further request for documents at this stage or are we pretty much there? I hope not as this will then delay again. Thanks
