just waiting a response now
Have you received mortgage from bluestone ?How long was it after you exchanged you completedI exchanged 2 months before I completed as I was waiting for my plot to be built. However normally you’ll have 5 working days between exchange and completion ☺️0 -
I got my offer nearly 10 months ago.
Mortgage offer got extended, my solicitor requested funds and exchanged when they were received, the following morning my purchase was completed and I picked up the keys.
I've been in my home 6 months and it was all painless with bluestone, my broker works with them a lot and knows what they expect when submitting applications. Everything is gathered up, checked and double checked. I only had to provide one additional statement, which hadn't been produced by my bank at the time.
Things will be a lot easier for people now compared to when we were buying. Lenders, solicitors and brokers all have a routine working from home or doing a mix of office / home.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
Just an update that I completed and moved into our forever home last week. It feels like it came really quickly despite the waiting. Hang in there, it will come good in the end3

I have received offer with Bluestone yesterday. Looking to apply for Building Insurance. I have read on this forum that Bluestone requires them to be named as 'Party with Interest' on Insurance. Please someone help me find an insurer whom you have used and Bluestone accepted. Thanks and regards0

So we had our offer on 28th October...which was so exciting to find out the offer was the wrong amount and they would need to change the offer...still waiting to be told they need to speak to the person who done the valuation to see if it’s worth the money 👀👀 anyone else had this?
So when we applied for the mortgage we were buying at £180,000 then we changed our offer to £170,000 due to certain finds! So mortgage offer says £180,000 not £170,000 not sure why it’s such an issue0 -
