Does anyone know how long it take bluestone to go the all ok with exchange , we have fulfilled every matter on the offer but feel this is another long progress and we supposed to complete on the 20th novemebr

What kind of things? 

@j@Joleen23 do we had special requirements eg payslip and requirements fir the solicitor to do

Bluestone do not provide the confirmation that they are happy for you to exchange. Your solicitor will advise when you are ready. However your bluestone may have special conditions within your mortgage offer that your solicitor will need to satisfy before you can proceed to exchange. Your solicitor will need to ensure that they can satisfy the points before exchange as if they are not satisfied by the time you complete bluestone will not release the mortgage advance. 

Bluestone can take 3-5 working days to review all solicitor correspondence.

hi all - just checking with anyone that’s completed - ( as i’m still waiting to hear off Bluestone ) regarding first mortgage payment.... any idea how long this is after the completion date ? many thanks x

It explains in the T&C's, depends what date you asked the DD to be set up for.
They do send a letter confirming it, think it was the week after I completed it arrived.

i haven’t requested a date and that was not an option on the DD form.  is it usually a month from the date you complete ?

When you completed did you get a moving in welcome box from Bluestone?

@Lucas2018 you must have completed a direct debit form and set the DD date as that's the only way they will accept the mortgage being paid each month. Overpayments can be made by faster payment etc.

@newhome2020 no, just a letter and a phone call to go over monthly payments and things. Gifts from lenders are not a normal thing, only a few do it.
