We went with simply too and they have been amazing . 
Solicitors started searches about 3 weeks ago and have them all back except one due on 3 Nov. 
First time buyers now living outta boxes in a rented house hoping to get the keys ASAP.

hi, what searchers does your solicitor have to do? i am waiting to hear back from bluestone and had my hard search done over a week ago although i haven’t contacted my solicitor, i didn’t know i had to until my offer was accepted? 

We had all the usual searches the solicitors do. We paid for the searches about 4 weeks ago and still waiting on one from local authority. We appointed a solicitor straight away to save time.

Not yet, ours is in exact same place as yours 🤞🏻 Our MA is off Friday and Monday though 🙈

Really positive to hear all the positive outcome stories. We had our DiP back on 12th Aug, put in the application a week after. My broker is keeping me up to date with respect to any updates possible but the updates are really slow. We're on week 9 now, just heard back yesterday where Bluestone are requesting a copy of my previous employment contract (I'm a contractor), its so painful and my application seems to be taking what feels like an age. We are applying to Bluestone via Brightstar (I know..). According to Bluestone criteria we'd be going in as applicants who are categorised as AAA. No CCJ's, but history of 4 defaults all dating back over at least 18 months, Experian score was 520 and 614 at the time of initial application for both me and the Mrs, however we have improved to 770 and 801 respectively (I know the score doesn't make a difference). Had a hard search on our credit file on 15th Sept but we seem to just be going back and forward. Anyone on here had a breakthrough with Bluestone via Brightstar. Oh we are seeking 50% LTV. Good luck to all.

Our application went in 26th august, then around 4 weeks later they asked for some extra info, valuation was called for last weds? They came on Monday, then offer today, it seemed once they had got everything quite quick but it was back and forth with Info that seemed to drag as it was two weeks each time we submitted anything
