Hello,
Myself and partner have received a DIP from Bluestone for a HTB mortgage. We are looking to reserve a property off plan which will not be built until July/August.Has anybody been in this position with the build date being later than 6 months and if so were bluestone able to provide an offer valid for the build window??
Thanks in advance!!0 -
6 months max but you can extend a further 3 months when it expires0

Here I am 3 weeks after offer still waiting.
The solicitors have just completed their searches which took a month. The solicitors started the searches 2 weeks before I received an offer.
The solicitors applied for auth to exchange last week thursday which should take 3 working days as displayed on their website. I guess I will hear back from them today.
@mortgagetakingages is right, the waiting continues after offer.0 -

We went with simply too and they have been amazing .
Solicitors started searches about 3 weeks ago and have them all back except one due on 3 Nov.

Good luck with it, we all seem to be at the same stage ... so fingers crossed for us all atm! have you had your hard searches done?springmagpie said:Hi all,
We got our DIP 2 weeks ago and the full application was sent off last week.
My husband had an IVA which was discharged 3 years ago, a CCJ which falls off his credit report in Jan. I have poor credit due to missed payments/defaults over a year ago.
Feeling very nervous. We are buying the place we are renting, so if we don't get the mortgage offer we will have to look at moving into another rented property. Been very unlucky with 3 landlords selling with 2 years, so desperate to stay put!0 -

Just had a load of questions fom Bluestone, they have gone through our bank statements with a fine tooth coomb, asking about £25 payment to my mate for a train ticket etc. Not sure if it's good news or not. What do I say about why i missed payments, the reality is I got myself in a muddle with money??0
