Sorry to jump on. Has anyone been asked for employers details so they can give a reference? We went to the underwriters Tuesday and that’s all they want is employers details at the moment.

@jamiebuyer I think they ask most for contact details. They asked for ours but haven’t contacted our employers.0

They ask for employers details as standard. Im not sure how the application would have gone in without that.
They do not usually go for a reference as standard.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Valuation booked for tomorrow 🙏1

@ACG they had all the employment details before application. It’s gone to underwriter and they’ve asked for employment references. Do bluestone usually ask for more documents after underwriting stage?0

They came back to us (after instructing the valuation) asking for confirmation of my partner’s reference details, and questioned a transaction.jamiebuyer said:@ACG they had all the employment details before application.
