Oh god @Hooefullyhopeful that’s ages! The seller will be well annoyed if it takes that long, it’s taken a month to even get to the underwriter. I’m worried they’re going to pull the sale.0

@Notorious_nab ours took 4 weeks to pre underwrite before submission too.. it feels like an eternity .. but then if they ask you for more documents can then take approx 5 days for a reply, sometimes 2-3 depending on how busy they are .. it’ll be worth it though, I’m sure the sellers will be ok, just update them when you hear anything, that’s what I did, they won’t want to start the process with someone else and you’re nearly there now x1

I know it means absolutely nothing, because some people have them, some people dont, and it has no bearing on what the time scale is, but ive had my hard search on experian on the 8th. .
9 weeks since we put the offer on the house, i'm so excited, it means that something is finally happening, haha2 -
I was in the same situation 😩😩 so I always called my broker at 9 am everyday so he’d check whatever he missed and I had the all day to provide what they asked, before it gets to 5 pm in the hope of getting an update the next day the least.Jadietemp said:I chased up with my broker/packager today asking for a timeline that they promised 2 weeks ago, 6hours later still no timeline given, but an ‘oh I’ve had a look and that declaration form you electronically signed last week, it’s no good, we need a wet signature’
You’ve taken 5 days to tell me this because?!…
Mad rush around to find someone with a printer so I can print it off, sign it, take a photo, then send it back tonight, so they’ve got it before the weekend delay.
They’re only checking up on stuff when I tell them to, it’s infuriating.

Valuation booked for Monday x0

We went into underwrite on Tuesday. Estate agents asking us to pay for valuation (9 weeks since we put offer on house, they're understandably getting impatient), advisor said we don't do that until Bluestone have signed off on underwrite.
Who has risked an early valuation payment and instruction?
0 -
@Jadietemp I probably would have risked it but didn’t have the opportunity given x0
-
I also think it’s bluestone that instruct valuation not the estate agent x0 -
yeah estate agents are pushing me, to push my advisor, to push bluestone to let me pay it now, a lot of pushing haha. i may just take the risk if i can0
-
My estate agent is doing the same @Jadietemp but my broker is saying to wait. Not sure what to do here either.0
