I do not want to go through this stress again trying to get an extension 🙄
  • Has anyone else had their application in over a month and still not had a valuation instructed?

Have you paid for it @Notorious_nab

We have paid for it. But no date booked for it.

No not yet. My estate agent called to chase earlier and I asked the broker if he knew of a possible date and he said no and that we can pay for the valuation and he can ask Bluestone to proceed but he can’t guarantee they won’t subsequently decline so I am not sure what to do.
  • I paid for ours yesterday but our developer doesn’t work Tuesday or Wednesday so I’m guessing I won’t hear anything until Thursday / Friday x

@Lynds1 our valuation is booked for Thursday and our advisor has said that it takes about 3 days once they receive the valuation to the full offer!
  • Finally gone to the underwriters this morning. Any idea how long this usually takes before they instruct valuation?

It varies, if they have questions or request further documentation. From answering queries it can take a further 48 hrs before hearing back.
  • @Notorious_nab ours took 3 weeks from underwriting to valuation x
