Just got a phonecall to say my mortgage has been offered! Thank goodness, I can now be peeled off the ceiling!

My MA has said no phonecall / no valuation etc! I am very chuffed! Hopefully can complete on time now!
Ahh congratulations!!! Full steam ahead now!!!

Most definitely!! Our full application is now being submitted to Bluestone!!!! Fingers crossed!!
  • Apparently their time frames don't mean anything. Our case has been with them since Thursday afternoon, they keep telling my MA it will be close of business everyday, but now they are refusing to give a time frame. :(

    Oh no!!! That's awful :(

Simply just emailed me stating they expect an initial review in 2-3 days, which will then give them more of an indication of how long any offer is going to take. Can I ask which broker company you went with?

Have you had any update at all since it was submitted?

We are using Haysto. They have been great until this. They submitted the application over a week ago, the lender then came back and asked for some other documents which were sent straight away. I was told I would have an update, Friday, then Monday. Tuesday I was asked for more ID, which I sent, and now they are refusing to give a time scale.
    It’s doing my head in.

Aw that's awful, sometimes u just wish they wouldn't make false promises especially if there is no guarantee that the time frame can be met! I'm trying to be a little optimistic but the anxiety is rubbish!! I hope you hear something soon from them, surely an update is in the pipeline after this amount of time?! I presume you still need the valuation to be instructed too?

I was with simply! They really helped push through, they were really on the ball. But in fairness I was on the ball too, after it was submitted to the underwriter I did have some questions going back and forth and I submitted any documents / answered any questions within the hour of receiving them. So from application to bluestone to offer I was about 5 working days I think.
