After 12 weeks since first application we are finally getting our keys tomorrow it’s been horrendous but at last we are able to get our dream home. It might have took along time to get sorted but it’s will be worth it.
  • Ours has stalled again. They have instructed the valuation but now want more information. It’s driving me mad
  • I’m losing hope with our mortgage journey.

Offer put in on house 9th Jan.

    DIP on 12th Jan.

    Masses of documents sent over.

    Solicitors appointed and waiting.

And here we are on 3rd of Feb, and our application has not even been submitted yet, and looks like we’re still a week or 2 off.

I’ve had to go to the seller and plead with him to hang on for us, and pay a goodwill deposit to prove we’re serious buyers.

I don’t even know where the blame lies, the broker, the packager, or the lender.

But if it wasn’t for my love of this particular house, I’d be willing to just give up entirely and keep my hefty broker fee to buy chocolate instead.

    Sigh.

  • @feelinghopefull2022 oh no , how come ? Been following your journey .. it’s all so stressful isn’t it x
