Thank you. I’m in a much better place mentally and financially then I was when I had the problems and I’m hoping that I can explain it fully enough to them. It’s the only thing they have asked for extra, so I’m hoping this is a good sign

They came back yesterday confirming valuation as expected and requested more docs but told today we are in the awaiting final decision queue if anyone knows timescales?

I've sent back my adverse credit explanation and a couple of other bits they needed, nothing major, our MA said they are currently on a 24-48 hours turnaround time at the moment. I'm so worried that they'll now reject it because of my mental health.

My full application has only just been sent to bluestone this morning, I have been advised I don’t need to get it revalued, the HR is less than 3 months old. I am wondering what kind of turnaround I think I’ll be facing as my seller have advised a strict DOE for the 7th of February, can anyone advise please? 

I used a packager company, simply, so I don’t think they should ask for anymore documents and I’ve already provided an adverse credit explanation etc

So this forum has been so helpful to me over the past few months. My remortgage is due to complete with Bluestone on Tuesday. Does anyone know what final checks they make? I have already had the pre-completion call with them. I can’t help but feel anxious!

Can I ask if you don’t mind when your mortgage was approved by the underwriters?

Sure. It was approved on 30th November 2021.

Sorry to pry, but can I ask why it’s took until now to be completed? Was that your choice for a date of entry or were bluestone holding it up?

No problem at all. The delay was due to the solicitors spotting that my property not being registered correctly by the Land Registry (it was a New Build when I purchased it) which caused a lot of back and forth with the solicitors. It was finally all sorted last Friday (14th January) and the completion date is set for Tuesday 25th January.

Well our application is now with the underwriters and our MA has said we should have an answer by close of business today. I’m so nervous that it will be declined. I’m terrified that my explanation of the adverse credit will be the reason as it’s due to my mental health. Can’t concentrate on anything until I know!
