That’s on check my file, which uses information from 4 of them I think, that’s what our MA said bluestone will use,Choco_cookie said:
Oh right! Hopefully you hear back from them before the weekend!! If you don’t mind me asking, are you checking on Experian or another credit agency ? If so does it tell you what type of search was it?Brad92 said:
Yeah we have searches on the 7th December, our application went In 1st December and still waiting to hear,Choco_cookie said:Has anyone got any credit searches done from bluestone?
We’ve been told our next step is valuation but just waiting for that to be confirmed it’s been instructed0 -
I’ve just saw a search that was made by bluestone last week (on check my life) and it says *application* as type of search, just panicking a little bit because we sent our application on 26th of November… so I was wondering if we’ve just been doing back and forth on documents two months for nothing lolBrad92 said:

We are in exactly the same position. Our mortgage payment is increasing by £260 but we will still have around £1000 a month disposable income too so fingers crossed. When i asked my broker yesterday about affordability she said don't worry that's already been factored in. The lender looks at the ONS statistics and works it from there, they will either increase or decrease where appropriate. So fingers crossed!! Im all ok with affordability I’m just stressing about debts that aren't on our file and do they ask for information relating to them. One of them is for just over 8k, it dropped off our credit file last year but we're obviously still paying it off. Bluestone only use Experian so I'd imagine they come across this often with some lenders only reporting to certain credit agencies. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough, feel awful to harrasing my broker!! I wonder if anyone else has any experience of this?feelinghopefull2022 said:
Me neither! We can easily show that we can afford it, as none of our costs will change, as we’re already living in the house, other than the mortgage payment increasing by £100 a month but we have over £1000 a month disposable income, so affordability isn’t an issue. I’m just hoping they Can understand that.AR2022 said:
Ahh bless you! So your probably about a week ahead of us!! So stressful isn't it! I'm hoping they don't either haha! I'm sure I'll find out if Simply are going to ask for it in the next 24 hours. The nerves and anxiety are just awful aren't they! Constantly checking emails and all that jazz!! Don't think I'll ever move again!!feelinghopefull2022 said:
We’re buying the house we currently live in too! I haven’t been asked yet to prove outstanding balances, so I’m hoping they won’t need it! I’m so nervous! Ours is with bluestone now, having gone through Haysto’s signing off team and QA!AR2022 said:Hi fudgecake!
Ah thank you! Really hoping it's a quick and easy process! Wishfull thinking maybe haha. We are purchasing the home we currently live in so fingers crossed.
I'm wondering if anyone has had to provide proof of balances on outstanding debts? I have one that isn't on my credit file anymore but I'm still paying off which shows on my bank statements. Trying to prepare myself for all the questions haha!

Hi, my application is currently with the pre underwriters at Simply, I don’t have massive debts but unfortunately had a couple of defaults, nothing more that £200, more that 2 years ago. Is this likely to be approved?Does anyone know a rough timeline now as to when I’ll get the settlement completed? I had a greed a date of entry on the house for the 7th of February, I’m worried it’s not complete by the and the sellers pull out? They have bought a new build and I’m assuming their date of entry is the 7th, they advised they could be charged huge amounts in stamp duty if they sale is no complete by the 7th.0

It will ultimately be down to the solicitors and when they can get the searches done by.jenniferharrison18 said:Hi, my application is currently with the pre underwriters at Simply, I don’t have massive debts but unfortunately had a couple of defaults, nothing more that £200, more that 2 years ago. Bluestone are asking for explanation of the adverse credit, i can provide this but I’m worried as it’s linked to a period of time when I suffered from post natal depression. I’m all ok now it was a long time ago, but I’m worried that Bluestone will think it’s not a valid reason. Has anyone else had money problems linked to their mental health and had it accepted by bluestone0

I wouldn’t worry I had to do this and the reason why I had issues was just to a ongoing battle with my autistic child before diagnosis. They were very understanding, I think they just want a picture of your situation at the timefeelinghopefull2022 said:Bluestone are asking for explanation of the adverse credit, i can provide this but I’m worried as it’s linked to a period of time when I suffered from post natal depression.
