Congratulations!!! We just had our valuation approved today so seeing how quick yours was to offer is reassuring 😁
  • We had our valuation 2 weeks ago still no offer ! I am wondering whether we are going to get a mortgage they are are taking so long to process this mortgage or is it the mortgage broker this can’t be normal procedure.
  • Received our offer yesterday! 🥳🥳🥳
  • A huge congratulations to everyone who is on this journey

The question I wanted to know is… we exchange on Friday - which was awesome

Do BS do final checks and if so at what point do they do the checks?

    Bluestones big thing is affordability.
There is not really much to check on that front once you have your offer, they could ask for another payslip but they dont do that.

Typically once you get your offer, the only other job is to release the money when the certificate of title (CoT) comes in. It appears that you are home and dry.

Any advice for us ? We are still waiting an offer over 2 weeks since valuation.
  • I’m still waiting… full application was sent nearly 3weeks ago, my MA said today that they have assessed the affordability and it’s passed the loan request… which is great news!

they had a few questions about some of my debts.. And they came back and said they would like me to pay them off upon completion… which isn’t a problem.. has anyone else had to do this?
