Can anyone advise how soon after the mortgage payment once completed
This is what I’d like to know too - as I’m not sure when we receive details of the payment in the post after completion? When did u complete? We completed on 15th December so I’m only assuming our first payment is due on 1st Feb

We completed on the 10th Dec - first payment is the 1st Jan - we received a letter confirming payment date and amount a few days later
  • That sounds about right. We completed on the 2nd December. I received a letter stating our first payment would be the 1st January 😊

Ah ok - I spoke to someone on Friday - our first payment is quite a lot more than our standard monthly payment and he advised that it will be collected 1st feb - maybe we hit the cut off for the 1st jan payment? Hopefully I’ll get my letter in the next few days confirming for definite
  • Hi, this forum has been so helpful reading the previous posts etc so thank you!

Myself and my partner have awful credit (previous bankruptcy, CCJ) and have received a DIP with Bluestone via clever mortgages.

I’ve read posts about a packager and I’m just wondering if someone can explain what they are and if Clever Mortgages use them? I’ve been told MA requires Authority to proceed before they can submit the application which I applied for Tuesday so hoping it comes back before they close for Xmas otherwise it’ll be a long week lol
  • Not one for negativity but ours was rejected today from bank statements despite earning 3x mortgage payment per month.

    make sure it’s squeaky clean

    onto plan b

Sorry to hear that! Was it rejected straight after submission on first underwrite or did you go for valuation first? If you don’t mind me asking, are your bank statement spending heavy or any missed DD’s?
  • First underwrite I think
they had it about 3 weeks, kept asking for docs etc
  • That’s a shame! Did you have any gambling transactions? I’m really worried now as we pretty much live month to month as we spend all our disposable income on food / days out etc and we do have some returned DD’s on our statements from telecoms due to them not changing the date  (although After I provided an explanation to the MA they advised bluestone was ok with the explanation)

there was a loan too (that cleared credit card debts - was advised would have improved my credit score )

was told if reapplied in 3 months might be ok but can’t wait that long.
