there was a loan too (that cleared credit card debts - was advised would have improved my credit score )
was told if reapplied in 3 months might be ok but can’t wait that long.
how much would you off had left each month after your bills & proposed mortgage payment if that makes sense0 -

I cant imagine them declining you for normal spending.
Intrigued as I have come across this and just wondering if there is something I should be keeping my eye out for.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. I’m really worried now as we pretty much live month to month as we spend all our disposable income on food / days out etc and we do have some returned DD’s on our statements from telecoms due to them not changing the date (although After I provided an explanation to the MA they advised bluestone was ok with the explanation)It’s a long old process and so stressful but it’s worth it.0

I did more digging
they had asked for us to clear the credit card debt when we sold the house but as it was getting ridiculous I took out a loan to clear the balances and cut up cards.
this loan to be paid off on sale.
apparently they didn’t like the timing of it.
My fault0 -
hello all, just a post to say we got our mortgage offer today from bluestone!
i have been a follower of this thread for quite a while!
Bit about me!! im formally bankrupt (discharged 2018), two ccj's on credit report (covered by the bankruptcy) so not the best! the wife has a clean slate so no problem with her status.
i had an inheritance so have a substantial deposit (90k)
we applied for bluestone last july! and had an aip to start looking.
found a property eventually after being outbid time after time in october, end of october put in the full application.
loads of requests from bluestone for different documents.
to and throwing our mortgage advisor asked if we could pay for the valuation to speed things up as bluestone was worried
we'd pull out ?? dont know why they'd think that but we got it done.
anyhow so happy now and the mrs can stop stressing !!
we got there and for anyone else in the same situation there is hope !

Broker advises underwriters are ok with our credit / bankruptcy which is good to know, just worried as we had the couple telecom DD returned in oct / Nov so stressed about bank statements. (No late payments and accounts are up to date)Our broker has submitted our full application today to Bluestones so the waiting game begins 🤞.DIP 16/12/21
House reserved (new build) 17/12/21
HTB applied 17/12/21
ATP received 04/01/22
Full App submitted 05/01/22
hoping it’s not too long to wait for bluestones as the wait / stress has been awful so far, plus developer keeps chasing as they want to exchange within 28 days (14/01) but this is really unlikely!Anyone else is same position / know current timeframes?0 -
We submitted our bits for our DIP at 4pm yesterday, 10:40am today we got our DIP. Just submitted all our other documents for the full application today so fingers crossed won’t take too long0
