Are you buying new build? 

We are using Help to buy, DIP before Christmas and application submitted last Wednesday. bluestones then asked for proof of deposit which we sent last Friday but our MA advised our valuation has been booked for today and we should have an update in 48 hours?

are your brokers using a packager or anything? Fingers crossed you have good news soon! Think sometimes self employed take longer but hoping I haven’t got to wait that long

No not buying a new build and not using a help to buy or anything, we’re buying a bungalow for £300,000 and got a mortgage for £230,000 if all goes well fingers crossed! 

Just feels like it’s taken forever now with the Christmas break in between, has anyone been turned down this late into the application,

Which company do you use to view the searches completed by Bluestone? I can’t see any searches at all.

Bluestone use Experian - if you have credit expert you can see the searches on Experian.

Full application submitted last Wednesday with valuation completed yesterday but I haven’t seen any hard search yet (only soft search from DIP)

hoping to hear soon

Ok I see it now, only one search way before we got the offer. 

Has anyone had a search near to completion?

@Brad92 have you had any update?

They came back yesterday confirming valuation as expected and requested more docs but told today we are in the awaiting final decision queue if anyone knows timescales?

hoping for good news soon as I can’t take the stress anymore lol

We’ve had to supply yet more info, they had been getting back to us earlier this week within 24 hours, but this time with the latest info back it’s 3 days tomorrow, my mortgage advisor phoned impact today and they said they are expecting to hear from them tomorrow and hoping the next step is instructing the valuation and impact said once that’s been done they are happy with everything, 

dragging on so long so I’m really hoping for some positive news before yet another weekend of waiting!

We’ve sent over 47 docs to them! Feels like they have had my whole life story lol

Yeah me and my MA said today we think the only thing left to ask is what I had for dinner last week! Lol! 

It’s probably easier to answer with what haven’t I been asked for! No joke lol!

MA got back to us today and said that bluestone are happy with all our documents now and they will be back in touch on Tuesday to confirm the instruction of valuation 🤞👍🏻
