Does anyone know what the phone call with Bluestone entails?
Just to run through how much you're borrowing, whether there's been any changes to your circumstances. Check you've paid the arrangement fee etc.
It's not as scary as you think.
After completion a letter is sent confirming monthly payments and a few other bits. About a week later they call to say hello, confirm the details, ask if you've any questions and say if your circumstances change contact them and they'll see what can be done for a period of time.

@disneydreamer1985 it's the interest element plus a full contractual payment for the first one.
The interest is calculated from drawdown (when the funds are sent to your solicitor) to the direct debit date.
Mine worked out to about £10 + normal monthly payment.
They will confirm the figure with you.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Hi all
very interesting to see others experiences. It is so anxiety provoking.I got a DIP from bluestones about a month ago, since then had to provide loads of information for pre-underwriting. Formal application in 2 weeks ago, so far they have asked for a few bits of info, childcare costs, proof of deposit, not much else.
My own house sold in August (divorce situation) and have an offer in on a much smaller property. Have a decent and secure income and 50% deposit, but a poor credit rating, due to the divorce and associated issue (ie stress!!!).Very scared about being declined at this stage and feel in limbo as don’t feel like I can imagine having the new house until I have an offer.Every day I am dreading them asking for more info, it’s been so hard getting to all together in the midst of full time work and single mum etc, feel like I’m going to cry if they ask for anything else
I’m wondering what else they might ask and how quickly I will get through, as also scared of losing the house I have made an offer on!0
