Completely understand u feeling like this - but try to stay positive. Hopefully they won’t keep you waiting much longer! I had to randomly wait a while to get to valuation - seemed like everyone was hearing from them, either requesting more info or good news, but I was hearing nothing, so maybe they’re just making sure they’re doing all the final checks etc. Fingers crossed for u 🤞🏼

Well I received an update from Simply and it seems one of my employers did send the ref back until today (even though they both promised they were sent last week) So now I have the standard 24-48hrs wait to hear back from BS. Feeling reassured now that there isn't an issue BS were just waiting for all the info..

Oh Atleast there’s an explanation of why you haven’t heard anything! So hopefully you’ll hear back weds/Thursday 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Just heard from Simply, BS have approved our application and instructed valuation!! 
So relieved. Simply said it would be very unusual for BS to ask for any further payslips etc prior to making an offer so as long is our property is good we should be fine

Yes we are, think our advice would be hang on there and don't panic! Think BS approve the vast majority of those they give a DIP to as long as you're honest

Definitely! It’s just all the waiting, drives me insane! We had our valuation yesterday so just waiting on that 😬 just hope it comes at what our MA put in. The surveyor said she doesn’t see any issues but obviously couldn’t promise until she did the report etc 🤞🏼🤞🏼

Was there anything else required before completion? We've given the proof that they're listed as an interested party for the house insurance and haven't heard that there's any problems with the policy at all. 

We're completing soon and I want to make sure there's no hiccups and it all goes smoothly!

Mortgage application finally been submitted today 😬 I'm going to be on the edge of a breakdown for the next few weeks 🤣 
Has anyone had BS querying expenditure and what proof did they ask for? I'm so worried that the last 3 months bank statements look horrendous... we had an unusually expensive few months due to a couple of weddings, paying for a holiday, and buying school uniforms (we didn't expect to be applying for a mortgage so soon... our hand has been forced due to our landlord unexpectedly passing away). Really hope they see that it's all non-essential spending and overlook it 🤞

Congratulations to the ones who have had good news!!! Still waiting here, had to send in letters confirming from landlord no missed payments etc, just wondering what’s next 😬

I’ve just been updated to say my valuation came back all good so fingers crossed I get the confirmation of offer soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼

I’ve not been asked about expenditure yet - and mine was terrible! I was so nervous about what I was going to be asked but the only thing that slowed it up was forms - which wasn’t too bad! Just awaiting for the last bit of uw so I’m still nervous wreck 😩😩🙈😂
