It’s such an anxious time isn’t it!snowwhite2 said:Hi all
very interesting to see others experiences. It is so anxiety provoking.I got a DIP from bluestones about a month ago, since then had to provide loads of information for pre-underwriting. Formal application in 2 weeks ago, so far they have asked for a few bits of info, childcare costs, proof of deposit, not much else.
My own house sold in August (divorce situation) and have an offer in on a much smaller property. Have a decent and secure income and 50% deposit, but a poor credit rating, due to the divorce and associated issue (ie stress!!!).Very scared about being declined at this stage and feel in limbo as don’t feel like I can imagine having the new house until I have an offer.Every day I am dreading them asking for more info, it’s been so hard getting to all together in the midst of full time work and single mum etc, feel like I’m going to cry if they ask for anything else
I’m wondering what else they might ask and how quickly I will get through, as also scared of losing the house I have made an offer on!Our application to offer all happened in the space of 4 weeks. Underwrite seemed to go on forever! I have found, and noticed from reading this thread that if you answer their questions and provide documents when asked you should be fine. I found once it went to valuation we had our offer quite quickly after.Good luck 🤞 keep us updated with your progress. You’ll be fine 😊0 -
I’m going into week 10 since we applied. Has anyone else had a similar timeframe? I feel like ours is taking forever and sick of the stress.0

It was quite reassuring to read that it’s a process and also that others find it as anxiety provoking and all consuming as I do 🤞0

Has anyone had a special condition on their mortgage offer to pay off debt on completion? If so - how did you do this? Did you or your solicitor pay it - what proof did bluestone request? Thanks0

That gives me some hope, thank you! 😊disneydreamer1985 said:

Thanks - was it a condition for your solicitor to pay them from your equity? Did/do you need to pay your solicitor extra to do this?Willowlou said:
