Do bluestone request anymore documents once you've got your offer or before you complete? Payslips etc?

Hope you don’t mind me asking but my solicitor has been aweful.  Apparently they posted out our contract today.  When do you get the authority to exchange, before or after that? 

Depends which contract it is sweet! We signed a load of contracts prior to mortgage offer being received our solicitors we’re a little proactive! Have they sent you the mortgage report? I can find everything we signed and at what dates later so I’ll repost with what we signed and when! By the sounds of it it’ll be afterwards you’d of had a very happy phone call from solicitors if you had your ATE Xx

Well our solicitors told us it was submitted Friday just gone the application but turns out they submitted application yday morning, it got returned in the evening asking for bank statements that were sent this morning and was picked up by 4pm checked and issued! Xx

Well our solicitors told us it was submitted Friday just gone the application but turns out they submitted application yday morning, it got returned in the evening asking for bank statements that were sent this morning and was picked up by 4pm checked and issued! Xx

More bank statements!! Who needs the bank statements H2B or the solicitor??

My broker said they will and can request my bank statements/payslips up until completion

Our solicitor has been absolutely shocking.  We have no idea what is going on.  Got a an email today saying contracts were sent to us today with site notes to follow so god knows what they mean 🤷‍♀️.  I’m getting more stressed now then I was getting the mortgage offer

We haven’t been asked to provide any as yet and a few others I know weren’t asked for anymore as far as I’m aware

Help to buy needed one to prove our address as a drivers license isn’t accepted as proof of address apparently! Xx

Our test payment has just been sent to the solicitors ready to transfer the deposit over once they’ve confirmed receipt! 😬😬🤞🤞

Exciting!! Bluestone have come back with a few questions for me one of them being why my middle name is on my self assessment but not on my passport!! They would need to ask her majesty! Lol My middle name is on my birth certificate which is used to obtain the passport so only god knows why it’s not on there. I’m wondering how long after they have the answers will it take for an offer…
