I hope mines as fast as yours! My full application went in today. I think this means your mortgage has been accepted! Congratulations
I’m not sure!! I don’t wanna get excited yet but I’ll wasn’t even aware they did valuation until today when my broker emailed me.

Is it normal for bluestone to do valuation so quickly?? I submitted full application and they asked for a credit commitment form. Then my broker informed me today they have done valuation 10th and are happy with everything. They have now asked for my latest bank statement but it hasn’t been generated yet. My full application went in 3/08/21. Does this mean I am near the end?? It’s H2B and I’m first time buyer. Thanks in advance
Here’s my timeline from app to valuation to offer!

    12/07/2021 application submitted using packager

15/07/2021 bluestone asked some questions packager submitted same day. Valuation instructed

22/07/2021 confirmation it has now been sent to the underwriters!

    27/07/2021 more documents requested

30/07/2021 documents finally submitted due to  MA being away so someone else stepped in to help

    05/08/2021 mortgage offer received  🎉

11/08/21 solicitors received offer via post

13/08/21 solicitors sent mortgage report via post

Wish I had more to add to timeline but nothing as yet as our mortgage report hasn’t arrived haha! But it looks like it’s going well for you!! Are you HTB first time buyer, if so bluestone have to pay for the valuation themselves and they wouldn’t book and pay for a valuation if they didn’t think it was going anywhere that’s what I was told! Xxx

Yeh I’m First time buyer and using help to buy. I thought it went to first underwrite- valuation then second underwrite…I’m so confused lol!!  My broker said they just requested my most recent bank statement but they already have it!
That’s really good if that’s the case regarding valuation! Hopefully some good news soon! Xx

We have had to apply for a mortgage extension today… does anyone know how long it takes for the extension to go through and how long they usually extend the offer for?

Mine was done in 4 days.

I had to provide payslips from the application date to the extension request.

    A credit search was done.

I had just under 3 months extension as that took me to the date my valuation would expire / need to be redone.

This was done during the original lockdown and my purchase was completed within 2 weeks of the extension being granted.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Great thank you! We’ve sent in payslips and bank statements from our application in April to now. Hopefully all should be okay and won’t take long to get the extension. We need a 6 week extension as the long stop date is the 7th October.

Hope you don’t mind me asking but my solicitor has been aweful.  Apparently they posted out our contract today.  When do you get the authority to exchange, before or after that?

That’s brilliant! How long does it take to get the ATE?
