Isn’t it the solicitor who informs them of the interest rate when they do the ATE? Also was there a way to check you still met H2B affordability with the higher interest??Lottien95 said:
When looking at that brief timeline it does seem quick and straightforward but reality is far different 😂 we hit a snag today with our HTB application our case handler didn’t update the interest rate as it’s over 4.8% with HTB even though I was assured thus was done and they left off our middle names so I’ve had to get all that amended, my solicitors now waiting for the offer through the post - how long did everyone’s solicitors take to receive the offer via post? August completion now has been scuppered so it’ll be end of September 😢xxPositiveaffirmations21 said:

so so so so happy!11/06/2021 reserved our home
26/06/2021 DIP finally received, was rejected at first a few days prior
02/07/2021 HTB ATP received
Lots of questions in between and over 30 odd questions!
12/07/2021 application submitted using packager
15/07/2021 bluestone asked some questions packager submitted same day. Valuation instructed
22/07/2021 confirmation it has now been sent to the underwriters!
27/07/2021 more documents requested
30/07/2021 documents finally submitted due to MA being away so someone else stepped in to help
05/08/2021 mortgage offer received 🎉
However our completion date is yet to be confirmed, solicitors are working on that for us!
It seems straight forward here but believe me before application submitted etc we was to and from the packager so much!
And details requested took a while in some cases!
Any questions Ask away!
End of September will come around in no time!!!0 -
Yep but we’ve had to have our ATP amended due to case handler missing our middle names off then heard back today that the builders solicitor no longer works for them so it’s bounced back so had to find out new contact information to re submit it this afternoon for them to re approve the ATP solicitors should have our offer by next Thursday so that’s when we can go for the ATE I’ve used there calculator online and we are just under there max interest rate figure so hopefully no issues there!! Just as I started to get excited been hit with such a deflating day! Praying they receive the offer sooner so the ball can get rolling for a completion! XxPositiveaffirmations21 said:
