Bluestone Mortgages

Suppose to be completing on Friday but not exchanged yet because bluestone not rang to give us the pre completion phone call before releasing funds which solicitor is waiting on. Been told they can ring anytime by solicitors but I thought they told solicitors a time and date.

They told my solicitor I was to call them for pre completion. He emailed and told me today and I called and done it today. I'm in Scotland so process is slightly different as we don't exchange then complete but we complete on Wednesday.

Id just call them if I were you - You also need to call Bluestone for a pre-completion call.  Please arrange for the applicant(s) to call our office on 0800 368 1833, option 3 (Mon-Fri 0900hrs to 1730hrs).

What’s the pre completion phone call about we was never told about this from our mortgage advisor! Xx

@Jen271626 Thank you. Called and apparently the solicitor should of received the same message you posted. Now done pre completion calls.

@Lottien95 They just run through mortgage offer and confirm if anything has changed since offer made. Also they tell you about first payment, nothing to worry about.

We have received our mortgage offer this morning🎉🎉🎉 its been a long time in the pipeline we are buying our house off our landlord started the process in February with a hightstreet lender and got turned down at the final underwritter changed our mortgage advisor and we have now finally got to where we are today.
It's been a long journey started our journey with bluestone 12th May 
Received DIP 22nd May 
Full application forms signed and sent in on 23rd May 
Lots of extra information requested 
Had our valuation 5th August 
And our mortgage offer today.

There has been plenty of times we felt like throwing the towel in but glad we stuck with it . 
This forum has been so helpful and reassuring .

Now time to get the ball rolling with the solicitor

Congratulations!! Finally coming together for you!! Get the biggest rocket you can behind your solicitors!! My actual one was on annual leave last week and she’s been back this week but I can’t get through to her what do ever! We have no clue on the next steps properly So my advise is find the biggest rocket you can and place it behind them and fire fire fire haha!! Xx

Thank you we are on it its all on a app we are just filling in all the details and answering all the questions. 
Hubby will ring them tomorrow see what happens next. Hoping it will be quick with us already living in the property
