Anyone renting whilst applying? We provided 2 years worth of bank statements showing rent payments etc, do you know if they ask or need anything more? We’re currently with the underwriters, We had two soft searches on our credit report from bluestone too on the 21st of July one for generic ID check the other says mortgage quotation , we had the same two back in June on the 17th when we were getting our dip, just wondering if anyone else has had the same/anymore than that?
We haven’t been asked for 2 years bank statements, they wouldn’t help anyway we pay in cash.  We were asked for a landlord reference though.
  • Hi, just wondering if anyone has dealt with bluestone. Regard child maintenance….? My partner and her ex are fortunate that they were able to agree on maintenance without using courts or CSA. Problem we have is other lenders will only use maintenance as income IF you have court order or csa documents…. I have read on the bluestone lending criteria that they accept csa OR 6 months bank statements. Just wondering if anyone else has come across this issue?
    many thanks

We've just had our offer 🎉🎉

2nd Dip 26/5 (after wasting 2 months due to a mistake on bs behalf)
    Fully submitted (again) 27/5
    More documents 3/6
    First underwrite 8/6
    Valuation instructed 12/7
    Valuation 21/7
    Offer 26/7

During this process we had a section 21 served by the landlord so this news is such a relief.
    Thank you for everyone's support!
Everyone still waiting, hang in there! ☺️
    🍾 congratulations🍾

Woohoo congrats!! At what stage of the underwrite did they get your landlords reference? Our application went in 12th July and 15th of July valuation was requested and application passed to underwriters then 21st of July we had those two searches show up on Experian! Just not a clue how long our underwriters process is going to be! Our home is almost ready to be completed build wise so I’m stressing! Xx

We were asked for the landlord reference during the first underwrite before the valuation (ours is an old build) our broker told us the timescale on their website for underwriting (2 days) is for the final underwrite so they had our valuation back late Thursday and today we got the offer which ties in with their 2 day timescale. We're still waiting for our local search to come back.. Which was applied for 7 weeks ago! It sounds as if you're very close to offer from what you've said 😁

For anyone who have already received their verbal offers - how long did you wait for the official offer to be sent through? My MA said it would be ready within 24-48 hours, but still haven’t received anything….

We received our verbal offer Friday lunchtime and got our written offer this morning at roughly 10am.

We got our offer and then the written email offer that afternoon. We have been given an "entry date" (already live here and buying off my dad) of 11th August. So hopefully be all over soon.

I hope so! We’ve been through bluestones initial assessment they came back and asked one lot of questions then passed it straight to underwrite, the valuation was booked even before it went over to them, I’m praying our underwrite update will be requesting the reference and then the offer won’t be far behind but I’m not sure we’ve been through so much hassle so far I’m praying this will be our smooth part! Xx
