How can they do that?! Ridiculous…will it take long for them to rectify? Being that the error is theirs?Icklesaint said:
Apparently he was supposed to have a form from the builder that he never asked for so just marked it at zero. I’m LIVID!!Positiveaffirmations21 said:
Surely they have made an error of some sort?Icklesaint said:Well we won’t be getting our offer today as expected. The surveyor for some reason has marked the value of the property as £0 😡😡.I hope it gets rectified ASAP for you.0 -
Has anyone had to get an extension to their mortgage offer? What documents did they need and how long did it take? It’s looking like we’ll only be about a week after our date for completion 😥0

I did. It took 2 or 3 days.
I had to provide payslips BUT my purchase was at the start of the original lockdown when everything was totally up in the air.
Extension was on the 21st and I completed on the 1st.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.0 -
I have hopefully had a glimmer of hope today! Persimmon rang and confirmed that bluestone instructed the valuation on the 15th of july
our application was submitted from our packager on the 12th and they came back to us on the 15th with some more questions and said once satisfied with the answers it’ll go to the underwriters, so that was passed over on Thursday this week to the underwriters, being FTB On HTB bluestone themselves pay for the valuation, and my MA told me that they wouldn’t pay for a valuation if they didn’t think the case would go through, so I’m praying I can start doing a mini happy dance! The valuation was supposed to be this Thursday but due to office illness it’s been rescheduled to Thursday this week 😢 we’re due our next underwriting update on Wednesday/ Thursday this week so I am PRAYING it’s good news! Has anyone else on FTB HTB been told the same thing in regards to the valuation that it’s in a sense a green light due to them paying for it xx0 -

I’m about ready to jack it all in all because of a surveyor. First he turns up at my house for the keys… I don’t have keys for a house I don’t own yet 🙄. Then he inputs a valuation on £0 on the valuation report and now his report and my paper work have different post codes. Even though the valuation has been instructed bluestone are still asking a million questions. And when I asked the mortgage advisor if, as bluestone are paying for the valuation, that if it is ok we should be good to go esp as bluestone are paying for the valuation and she said no it doesn’t work like that. Rraaa I’m so nearly done0

How strange I got positive news when I asked my MA about them paying for the valuation and booking it etc! My response was “ This can only be excellent news really. As mentioned it is a free valuation and paid for at Bluestone’s cost.Icklesaint said:I’m about ready to jack it all in all because of a surveyor. Anyone renting whilst applying? We provided 2 years worth of bank statements showing rent payments etc, do you know if they ask or need anything more? We’re currently with the underwriters, We had two soft searches on our credit report from bluestone too on the 21st of July one for generic ID check the other says mortgage quotation , we had the same two back in June on the 17th when we were getting our dip, just wondering if anyone else has had the same/anymore than that?0

We're renting too. We were asked for a landlord reference, proof of rent payments for the past 2 years on bank statements and we've only had 2 soft searches done (it seems to vary case to case)Lottien95 said:Anyone renting whilst applying? We've just had our offer 🎉🎉
2nd Dip 26/5 (after wasting 2 months due to a mistake on bs behalf)
Fully submitted (again) 27/5
More documents 3/6
First underwrite 8/6
Valuation instructed 12/7
Valuation 21/7
Offer 26/7
During this process we had a section 21 served by the landlord so this news is such a relief.
Thank you for everyone's support!
Everyone still waiting, hang in there! ☺️2
