It’s only been seven weeks but it has been hard work!!

My application was in March, the developer pulled out in June and re marketed the house because bluestone was taking ages, I was In stitches and lost money too but my MA advised I should keep the application, yesterday I received my offer and now house searching, I didn’t know this day would ever come.

please hung in there it’s mentally draining but worth it.

That's great news that you got the offer - have Bluestone changed their process as we were told that if we lost the house or looked for another house that we'd need to make another application?

30th June was the last contact from my broker and only as I asked a question. Really hoping I get some news today or some sort of update at least. Its like the never ending mortgage application.

Morning guys so a month after reserving and going through the pre app process we are hoping to be able to submit our application next week! Our packager is now reviewing everything again we’ve provided and will let us know in 1-2 working days, so hopefully we can get the ball rolling next week, my question is what’s next after this, once we submit how long and what happens next? We have a packager so it’s a fully packaged case whatever that means! Our home is finished by September and really don’t want to loose our! Stressing so much! Has anyone recently put there application in and been told a timescale,

That's great it's ready to be submitted. We were fully submitted 27/5 still waiting for valuation as we were asked for more proof of deposit and giftor identity (even though they had loads before)
Ours is an older build but new builds have their valuation done quicker from what I've read on here because it's free?
You may be asked for extra documents by the underwriters but hopefully your packager has everything they need. Good luck. Keep is posted 😁

I think the timescales seem to vary for everyone,  below is the timescale I had and I've been with Simply

27th of May - contacted mortgage broker
30th of May - provided documents
1st of June - asked about transactions and for further docs
2nd of June - application fully packaged and submitted to Bluestone 24th of June - advised application was successful subject to valuation
25th of June - valuation booked in for the 30th of June
31st of June - advised valuation had gone well and application was being sent for final underwriting
7th of July - verbal offer received
9th of July - written offer received
  • Valuation instructed :)
Ahh fantastic news! Bet you're so relieved.
I honestly thought we would never get there!
