Bluestone Mortgages

Feel like banging my head against a wall; was supposed to be going to valuation on Monday but then Bluestone said they hadn’t received my employers reference; then they had but couldn’t open the reference. After much back and forth they said it would have to be posted and then about half an hour after getting my work to do that they said they had got the information they needed but instead of reviewing it all and actioning valuation like they had promised all day, they said we will hear back Friday.

We are at 8 weeks and two days in since submitting the application and I feel like it’s never going to get there especially when 2 and a half weeks were lost because Bluestone asked for info they already had by mistake 😢

This sounds so similar to our process with them making mistakes when it comes to already submitted documents. We've been told the current waiting time for them to review something before they can instruct valuation is now down to 4.5 days! Which will be Friday for us too 😣 I'm having surgery on Friday and I keep joking that the first thing I'm going to ask when I come around is have we heard anything? 😂 Hang in there!

Absolutely gobsmacked just received our offer. Been a stressful 6 weeks and have to hand it to our MA he performed a few miracles.

Ahhh I hope nothing serious and goes well. I feel like I’m refreshing my emails every ten minutes. My MA keeps reassuring me once we go to valuation, offer is around the corner but that corner never seems any closer at the moment 😫

It's just a photo of my mother's bank card and bank statement as she is gifting some deposit. We've everything but DNA from her 😂 
I completely feel the same! Let's hope this is near the end!

Oh we had this with the deposit as it was from my mother in law! I completely get the DNA thing 🤣

How long did people wait for their valuation to get booked? I paid first thing monday morning and the estate agents have still heard nothing! This is the last hurdle and i have no patience haha

Just see that blue stone have done a 'first mortgage' on my experian, all previous ones say won't affect credit but this first mortgage one says can affect credit, is this good news? They did this on the 24th June and then Tuesday requested proof of deposit? Please help a sister put guys suck a long draining process, got my fingers crossed for you all!!
