My vendor decided to take another offer from someone even though we paid for valuation and the surveyors went round.0 -

My MA said we could use the same mortgage offer as it will be in the same price bracket or even cheaper.I’ll have to have a chat again with her tomorrow.0 -
Sorry I sound like such a broken record and feel like I’ve asked the same questions so many times. Our valuation was done yesterday.. estate agents have been ringing me today asking if we have heard back yet… (it was only done yesterday!) how long did it take you from valuation to offer? So scared our seller is going to get stressed out again with us by next week.0

Mine was done on Thursday but it wasn't Bluestone, we got a refresh done of a previous valuation. The report was ready within an hour of him leaving. Monday I emailed the surveyor and Bluestone still hadn't requested a transcript of it yet. I dont think my offer will be this week now. Not heard from Broker and my solicitor emailed us both for an update yesterday morning and the brokers not replied.

Yes new house means starting over with everything you have paid post. And now the money deposit is 25% so your likely going to need to find more cash for that.My mortgage condition was that the seller does work prior to money being released and he won’t. He feels that he has already knocked 5 grand off the house. Actual fact is it was over priced and what I’m paying is the valuation (bang on the nose).Unless he does the work I can’t buy the house and I can’t do the work as I don’t have access plus as I’m already paying full value it would mean spending more than the house is worth. Can’t find any other houses at min and even if one comes on the market I’ve only got 20 percent deposit. Searches and everything are paid I’ve even chucked out my furniture and packed the house up! I’m at a total loss as to what to do now. Can’t see a way forward other than to pay for the work myself but I’ve sunk every penny I have already to cover the deposit and fees. If I walk away now I’ve lost valuation fees, packager fees and cost of surveys plus I’ll get
a bill from solicitor and MA. Gutted0 -
