Does anyone know when they do the valuation if they are looking to make sure the property is worth what you are borrowing or the full price you are paying including deposit?

I always thought it would be the price you are paying for the property including the deposit so they know it’s worth what you are buying it for. So the asking price

They making sure that the total sale agreed sale price matches what the property is worth. Regardless of deposit/mortgage amount. The sale price has to match its valuation

We have had our mortgage offer today 😃 application was fully submitted on the 28th May. It’s a long process & stressful at times but it will happen just stay positive. We paid for the valuation before being asked to so this helped speed up the process. Good luck to everyone

Wow! Congratulations!!!!🎉🥂. Ours was submitted on the 27th of May🤞We hear soon.

Applied in March and still waiting 😞 thrilled for everyone getting offers but I’m beyond sick now

We're March too. It just feels so relentless doesn't it!? Hang in there and hopefully we all have good news soon. It's reassuring seeing people still getting offers though (and so pleased for all of course!) because we sometimes question whether bluestone are even still operating 😂
