  • Applied in March and still waiting 😞 thrilled for everyone getting offers but I’m beyond sick now
We're March too. It just feels so relentless doesn't it!? Hang in there and hopefully we all have good news soon. It's reassuring seeing people still getting offers though (and so pleased for all of course!) because we sometimes question whether bluestone are even still operating 😂
In the nicest possible way I’m delighted you’re March too as I felt like I was the only one. How are people applying in June and getting offers 😩 I honestly don’t even feel I’m a complex case. But yes it’s nice seeing people get offers just wish it was our turn ! 🤞

Haha I know what you mean! ☺️ We've had to do another dip in between due to an error on Bluestones behalf (broker ha made a complaint) and we're still no further forward other than them requesting the same information but I'm really hoping we have some news soon! The only positive we're taking is that our local search on the house isn't back so the sellers aren't yet coming at us with exchange dates 😂 I have to laugh at the moment or I'll just crumble under the worry!

Does anyone know if bluestone are normally quick at booking the valuation in?
  • So we’re ready to go to valuation but my employers reference is holding things up. Bluestone have it but they can’t open it because it has to come from a secure email so I’m hitting a brick wall as it’s the only way my work can send it.

Has anyone else come across this issue?

I know what you mean, we were the end of March for the full application but sadly our vendor pulled out in May as everything was done ready for the mortgage offer and Bluestones had no intention of expediting. Our vendor also got a far better offer so in affect I suppose we were also gazumpued. So all in all we lost the dream property. All you can do is try and keep positive vibes keep going back to the vendor with the vendor. Keeping my fingers crossed for you.

My boss did it as a PDF attachment to a normal work email.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.

Thank you. Received an email just before 5pm saying they had managed to get into it. Fingers crossed 😫

We heard back from bluestone today asking for proof of deposit in partners bank and proof my iva was paid off, are we near the finish line? Will they of asked for proof of deposit of they were going to decline? Ahhhh sooo stressed, buying a house and being early pregnant tired on top is not a great mix lol congrats to everyone on their offers 👏

I can’t remember how long ago it was when they asked us but it was at least 1 month ago! But that doesn’t necessarily mean that’s the same for you as we all seem to be different! Congratulations on the baby news ⭐️

Morning all. So we had our valuation back, property is priced right. However, we have been told that the Coal Mining Search is required prior to offer. We have got this and sent this so waiting to hear back. However, there is a 'potential risk' as the house is built on a past coalfield. Not a mine or shaft or entry. We are buying in Carmarthenshire and apparently the majority of houses have this in this area specifically. There have been no subsidence claims in the area at all and no record of mines, shafts or entries below the house. Is it potential for rejection even though the coalfield ran through the bottom of the garden?
