Bluestone Mortgages

@HS1234 I don’t think so but it wouldn’t necessarily solve the problem as a new lender will still be made aware of the works require. MA mentioned Halifax today as a possible lender and using a 15 percent deposit which would release some of my money to pay for works on the house but even then it means paying for work on a house owned by a stranger. That plus I don’t think they would approve me anyway. 4 years perfect debt free but a bankruptcy 4 year ago hence why bluestone.0

I don’t actually think the house even needs this but it’s a mortgage condition 😩

Is the house owner refusing to do the work?Foreverwaiting123 said:@HS1234 I don’t think so but it wouldn’t necessarily solve the problem as a new lender will still be made aware of the works require. I’ve found Pepper money, Kensington and Coventry building society. Have a look at their lending criteria if they are any use to you.1 -
So have those further specialist reports been done? Surely they could come back and say no remedial Work required? Give you the certificate for that and get your mortgage?Foreverwaiting123 said:I don’t actually think the house even needs this but it’s a mortgage condition 😩

We withdrew our application with Bluestones once we lost the property. The vendor put the house back in the market due to the length of time Bluestones were taking to process.HS1234 said:

So sorry to hear this, we ended up the same with our vendor pulling out. Keep your chin up, hopefully long term it will turn out better and you will look back on this as a blip in live. Good ☘️.Foreverwaiting123 said:Good luck everyone. I’m out 😞 but hope you all get your offers thanks for the support these last 4 months0 -
We just had our verbal offer 😭 😭
I honestly can’t believe it. We have been doing everything since the 04th April!! We instructed Solictors and valuation to be done before we had our offer which has speeded everything up for us but it’s still taken 3 months to get to this point. I’m in shock!!!! Good luck everyone, honestly it will come!!!!!!4 -
