Bluestone will carry out an initial assessment of documents to ensure those provide meet their requirements. Currently they have a 2-3 working day turnaround. Once they are fully happy at this stage, case is passed to underwriting for a full assessment. This stage currently has a 6-8 working day turnaround.
”
Could anyone advise me what I’ve got to come, what all this means what’s the next steps after that? I know every case is different but nice to have an insight
Extra ID for giftor (photo of Bank card & latest statement)
Proof of own deposit (around 3 times)
Up to date bank statements (due to time that had passed)
Sa302 overviews (self employed)
Landlord reference
Proof of rent payments for 2 years
We didn't use a packager though just our broker so hopefully they have everything they need from you already. Taking any progress as good progress is what has got us through so far 😂1 -

We submitted our application through a packager on the 2nd of July. Bluestone apparently asked for up to date bank statements but they hadnt actually looked at the date on top of the statements just the last transaction date 🙄 so they thought they were 5 days missing and were not. We reserved our property on the 22nd of July. According to our paper work it’s only reserved for 28 days so now with only a week left I’m starting to panic. The wait is awful.0

To say my emotions are all over the place right now is an understatement. After a tough few years to be in a position to have bluestone agree to lend pending a valuation was beyond amazing.
Being a home owner isn't something I thought would have been possible if you'd asked me 6 months ago.
Still after a few months of backwards and forwards with a great broker, we were there. The dream home has been reserved (a new build using help to buy) and the process was going well. Patience is a virtue I have.
Then today I was passed the news that we had an issue. The valuation had come back dramatically under the agreed purchase price, a massive £17500.
Now I don't know what to do.
Haven't spoken to the sales manager yet but surely this will have had to be an issue with the other properties?
I’m aware my options are now pretty much done as it isn’t viable to find any more of a deposit that I already have.
A lack of comparable was mentioned but all 30 properties have sold so I don’t get it.
I just want to cry. My tenancy on the flat ends at the end next month just to add to it all
