Oh wow amazing news!! Did you have a packager at all? Ours was submitted Monday and we’re waiting to hear back about if it’ll be passed to the underwriters, 2-3 working days we were told for them to check all the documents I’m hoping there’s not much more needed! Did they ask you questions when your initial application was submitted or did they start to ask any once it got to the underwriters? I’m so impatient it took us a month and a week to get the application submitted so I’m now on edge constantly! Xx

No packager. I’m led to believe that the only time my broker uses a packager is when it’s HTB.

We submitted our application and heard nothing for two weeks. Then they came back and asked about some payments to HMRC (we pay my partners tax in advance and I think they wanted to check we weren’t in a payment plan). Then instructed valuation the same day. That’s all we’ve been asked about. I feel like we’ve had it easy to be honest.

When the service level says they are working on packaged applications from the 9th does that mean that those that submitted before then should have heard something?  Ours was submitted on the 2nd.  They asked for bank statements they already had on the 8th and not heard a peep since then.  Out mortgage advisor is on holiday but she assured me that she was going to keep checking and let us know if any progress/changes.  I’m so impatient

That means they are doing the initial assessment of all your documents by a case manager. Then theyl move your application to missing documents and request them or theyl put it in the queue for the underwriter.

Little update from me my MA just emailed
“ The packager came back today and the case has had its initial assessment – they raised some points that have been answered on our behalf as the information is on file.

These have been referred to Bluestone – they will check these are correct then case should pass to underwriting.

As soon as I hear any further, I will be back in touch.”

I am PRAYING this is good news, can anyone advise how long the underwriting stage took and what happens in that stage and afterwards, my anxiety is through the roof!
