Oh god I cried!   Fortunately everything at the solicitors is ready to go so we're literally going to be exchanging and completing in the next 2 weeks. Can't believe it's nearly over

That is fantastic news!! How long has it taken you from application? We are been told we are awaiting decision! Hope we aren’t too much longer! You must feel so relieved.

That is fantastic news!! How long has it taken you from application? We are been told we are awaiting decision! Hope we aren’t too much longer! You must feel so relieved. 

Our full application went in on the 10th of May so... 6.5 weeks from start to offer - Document requests were done multiple times (3 or 4 I think) and we instructed our valuation before they requested us to do so (this was done Monday the 21st June and came back Tuesday 22nd) - Our broker got our case escalated and has been fantastic through out. 

Just glad it's almost over now.

Congrats, did they say it be emailed to you Direct or the broker? Still waiting on the documents myself

Apparently our broker and our solicitors will both get a copy within 24 hours and our broker will forward them on to us... Will let you know when they arrive!

Clinging on to hope that ours is soon as the landlord has served us notice today!

We submitted more documents 2 days ago and the wait is driving me crazy!

Oh god it's just horrible waiting isn't it - Fingers crossed you get an update ASAP.

Did anyone instruct their solicitors before they had a mortgage offer? Our solicitors are putting pressure on for us to pay for the searches on the property but worried that if we don't get a mortgage offer we will have lost £350 +!
