Hope some of you get good news today. I won't, haven't heard from my broker in 10 days now and that was only because the solicitor chased him for an update. Apparently Tuesday is our next review, no idea what stage we will be at then 🤞 near the end.

We have paid for everything early; valuation, searches etc. Everything is ready to go. Just waiting on the offer! That’s all we need to be able to set a date. Hope some of you get some good news before the weekend.

I have spoken to my MA again this morning and she is dead set against me paying for my searches yet - not sure this gives me much hope. Hopefully she is just being over cautious as I haven't even been given the option to pay the valuation fee with Bluestones yet, but then I am only 10 working days into my application

Is it probably the right thing to do in their eyes just in case you end up losing any money. We’ve been trying to get a mortgage offer since 04th April so we’ve just taken the risk in hope it speeds everything up!

Hang in there, I'm sure your offer will be with you soon. It may be that your MA is just being cautious or hasn't dealt with Bluestone before like our broker.

Our timeline So Far
13/05 - Application In
17/05 - request for docs
03/06 - With underwriters
09/06 - More Docs ( A Lot more)
23/06 - Valuation instructed.

oh and we instructed solicitor on the 15/05. All searches back and reviewed.

My broker was dead set against us instructing anything early to. Which made my heart sink because you worry they know more than they are letting on but my broker said once They have issued valuation then it’s pretty much in the bag

Does anyone else watch their phone and check emails constantly on a Friday, praying as its the end of the week you might just be lucky and hear something 🤣

Yep! Every day since April 😂 I try to forget about it on a weekend because I know I won't hear anything. Every Monday I also say "well maybe this week?"
