How long has it taken you guys for it to get to the underwriter stage?
I can't help you I have honestly been given no info at all once about where we are in the process.
😔 you must be as frustrated as I am. What’s your time line so far?

Also its a bit unfair that just because the person before you fell through you are now getting hassle. Are they seriously going to pull out and go again for the third time and not expect their own vendor to get fed up with them and remarket. They are at it 100%
It’s just getting ridiculous. I would understand if it was in our control but it’s not.

I would love to give her a piece of my mind but I’ve got to keep my gob shut.

Ours took 12 days from fully submitted but they have asked for more documents before and after underwriting stage and we haven't had a valuation as of yet. They seem to be picking up since reducing their LTV to 75% so hopefully not long for you 🤞
It’s getting so stressful due to the estate agents pestering every week.

    Wow 12 days that’s amazing.

We submitted on the 28th May.
Sent over P60’s on 5th, printed and signed declaration on the 11th. Then they asked for more than 3 months worth bank statements from me (the one with no defaults) 🙈 did that on the 17th and proof of deposit again on Wednesday.

It's been like getting blood from a stone from our broker. He didn't even tell us we were with underwriters until they asked for more documents. We don't have a packager so it's just him and bluestone which is frustrating when he's our only source of information.

We were fully submitted 27/5 so you won't be far behind I'm sure! 🙂
    This actually gives me hope.

We aren’t with a packager either it’s just a MA from we are money which I randomly found online. I can’t really complain about her as I text her everyday for an update and she probably hates me.

Have you booked your valuation in?

It's the best way to be with your MA... We were too laid back at first and funnily enough when we started to apply pressure we got answers from broker.
No we haven't booked valuation. No update as of today but no news is good news as they say!

It's all so stressful but will be so worth it for everyone on here in the long run.

I think they’re all under pressure as it’s the stamp duty deadline next week.

Let’s hope there will be good news next week.

I had submitted everything prior to the 11th May and then paid packager fees, valuation etc on 11th May

Broker then came back on 17th and asked for further stuff and said "the lender has asked for"

After that I'd message saying any updates once a week and got nothing. Sometimes no reply at all.

Beginning of June I asked if we could submit the home report to save the valuation being done and save us money. He replied hed submit it and if they accepted we'd be refunded the fees.

Contacted him by WhatsApp and call 11th June for an update and heard nothing.

14th June my solicitor communicated to ask when the application was submitted and where we were at. He messaged me a few hours later and the solicitor that the lender said it was in a queue and its next review was 29th June. And it was submitted 24th May 😱 not heard a thing since.

What the actual F. Why do they do that?

Speaking from my own experience, we didn’t submit everything full until we had all payslips and all bank statements.

Realistically you should be ahead of us and at the underwriter/ valuation stage. Hang in there not long left now hopefully.

Have you had your valuation yet? Sorry I’m probably asking the same question 100 times. My brain is like a sieve.

We are in Scotland so have submitted the home report and if they accept that they wont need to do the valuation. Whether its even been looked at, or at that stage - your guess is as good as mine. The lack of transparency in this process, for me, has been shockingly bad.

Fingers crossed for you. You will have some news next week hopefully and they accept the home valuation report.

From the posts I’ve seen on here, I think the house valuation reports are accepted.
