I am just nervous about the solicitor now. I already live at the property that I am buying, it’s my late mums house so don’t want any more hiccups but surely I’ve crossed them because Bluestone go through everything with a fine tooth comb.
Valuation done on 25/08 heard back the following day to say valuation was fine but they wanted another document. Sent that over, then it was the bank holiday weekend - offer made on the Tuesday 1/9. Simply then emailed out my offer two days later and I also received one through the post.0 -

I'm with simply and so far they've been fantastic. I didn't think I would of got of the starting line due to missed payments and a default so over the moon I'm at this stage.

Hi everyone, I have had a good read of this thread! It’s very helpful - my story is I am an agency worker through an umbrella company, I have missed payments 12 months old which are all now paid off in full (satisfied)
I was offered a DIP back in March just before lockdown, then when the lock down hit, I didn’t hear a thing from my MA - we had already paid our reservation fee and solicitors search fee. After lots of chasing I finally got hold of another person from my MA office who didn’t have a clue and quiet frankly I wondered why she had taken a job she was so poor at!! Anyway my original MA came back and said my original DIP was in hold because the mortgage company (Kensington) wanted to wait 12 months from the last missed payment. So we waited til the 1st September to be told their criteria had changed and they were now refusing to make any offer for another 6 months!Nothing has changed on my credit file other than improvements so I just can’t understand why they have refused!Anyway I plan on calling Simply Adverse in the hope they think I can qualify for Bluestone. Hopefully I can update you all tomorrow with what they are saying!0 -

I have spoken with Reiss who sounds positive about my situation! ideally we would like to get a buy to let mortgage on our current home to release the equity for the deposit for our new home. The BTL mortgage is to be managed by Aimee who a few have mentioned, is also very good.I have sent my Equifax report but have noticed the main debt is not listed on there?? This makes my file look better than it is! Do Bluewater only look Equifax? I think I need to be honest with them about this!I’ve already been through this emotional rollercoaster so want to be as clear as I can as early as I can! I have let Simply aware too.So fingers crossed! Simply think we should be fine so here goes the next few weeks/months!! 🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏🤞🙏0

Is it me or is this starting to turn into a simply advert? Just to point out that there are many ma out there who are fantastic including those in this forum and mine. None of which are from simply... (or at least not all of them are).
My MA cost me £495 plus £200 packager fee. Not sure how much simply or others charge but just want to bring some balance2 -
