We’ve sent additional information for underwriter but been told it could be 7-10 days before it gets looked at again 🙄🙄🙄0

Hi, I've recently hit upon this post and wondered if someone could advise me how long it's taken them to obtain a mortgage offer from submission of application?
Mine went in nearly two weeks back and been advised by MA we are with the main underwriters now.
Just a bit worried about this to say the least as I had to opt for a specialist mortgage advisor due to missed payments and a default (placed in error on my credit file last year).
I managed to obtain AIP and found a home over 80k less than my maximum amount.
The only thing that's keeping me hopeful is that we are going for like to like mortgage amount with our existing and have plenty of equity. (Not like that means anything right now).
Any advice appreciated. Thanks 🙂

So our is now in and we were told we would hear today, it went in on Tuesday. They came back today and asked for last years tax return which we have not filed yet so my MA said they don’t need to supply that as it’s legally not due until Jan 2021 👀
I have been told we should have answers Monday!AIP 3 August and they wanted so much information from closed accounts too so only managed to progress the application Tuesday!I just want it to get to valuation stage so I can see it progressing1 -
Congratulations and thank you so much. I'm very much "believe it when I see it" but also of the logic "if you don't try, then you don't know". Will keep you all posted. 🙂pretzel12 said:Hi all

I'm sorry to hear its becoming a long old process and hopefully it won't be too long before valuation is carried out. 🙂newhome2020 said:So our is now in and we were told we would hear today, it went in on Tuesday.
