Bluestone Mortgages

The people who have posted have all had completely various timescales. It seems dependant on area you live (due to how long valuations take) and your personal circumstances how long Bluestone takes to go over your case. It also seems to depend on who your packager was. Customers with simply adverse seem to be quite quick compared to some others. I have noticed the packager Brightstar seems to slow the whole process down quite a bit unfortunately.Jessicajessica94 said:How long was everyone waiting from underwriting to offer? Ours was submitted end of May. Still waiting for employment references to be sent out and valuation not been instructed yet. So scared we are going to lose our seller as he’s waited 3 months already.
My broker called on 14th June and was told our next review wont be until 29th June!! So I have no idea what is going on or if I can expect some info on that date or if that's only when they will start to look at my application again. I feel really sorry for you all who are worrying about losing the house. Im buying the house I live in off my dad but we have until end of June to tell his lender whether I can get a mortgage as he's already had two extensions and it needs paid off now.0 -
So they are really are 13 working days every time they look at the case and need more information. So frustrating. It would be so much easier if they asked for the documents they needed in one to rather than one at a time! Looks like we are all in the same position. We are with a packager called Impact. Our mortgage advisor is working with them to do our case. They have been great in keeping us up to date with everything but we don’t ever seem to be getting any further. 1 step forward, 3 steps back every day they ring! Fingers crossed you get everything before the end of June.Jen271626 said:

I was lucky mine wasn’t 13 days every time but my broker got the number for my case worker direct so everytime they uploaded docs they phoned him direct to tell him and he looked straight away.Jessicajessica94 said:

I wouldn't base yours on my timescales and let it concern you. Getting info off my broker/packager- not sure who the issue is from, is like pulling hens teeth. I really haven't been kept informed at all at each stage of the process and there has been a huge lack of transparency. So I am maybe just not having much luck. Yours may indeed be quicker. Some people have had offers in a month from submission. Mine is defo going to be over that. Your broker and packager seem to need to be proactive and constantly communicating. Mine sadly arent.Jessicajessica94 said:

We've had an update this morning! Apparently everything is done now (valuation is all back fine) just waiting for the final underwrite... Our broker has managed to get us escalated so we are in an emergency processing queue for the final underwrite now apparently... They are saying we should have answer in the next 24 hours.... Just before the weekend would do me... I don't think I can cope with another weekend of not knowing
Fingers crossed everyone gets some good news before the end of this week!2 -
When we were at this stage we got our offer the next day. Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻eje2021 said:We've had an update this morning! For those of you who have had your offers how long did it take for you to receive the offer in the post? We've been waiting nearly 2 weeks...
We've got the email version via our MA and our solicitor has the offer as well but we've not received anything to sign etc?0 -
Oh god I hope so. This has been the longest most stressful thing we've ever done...coral_a said:

We got the email and we’re told they weren’t sending via post at the moment. All we had to do was print off the direct debit mandate (again) complete & post back to them to accept the offerCosy2020 said:For those of you who have had your offers how long did it take for you to receive the offer in the post?
